Tehran - BORNA - According to the Iran Sports Federation for the Disabled, the team left via Istanbul International Airport earlier today.

The championships will take place from September 21 to 27, 2025, bringing together top para swimmers from across the globe. Three Iranian athletes, who secured their qualification at earlier events, will represent the country:

Mohammad Hossein Karimi – visually impaired athlete

Sina Zeighami Nejad – para athlete

Abolfazl Zarifpour – para athlete

The Iranian para swimmers will aim to win medals, set new records, and further elevate the nation’s standing in international competitions.
