Tehran - BORNA - Brigadier General Jalal Setareh made the remarks during a visit to Khuzestan Province and a field inspection of border guard units in the region.

Emphasizing the importance of border authority, enhanced operational readiness, and skill-based training, Setareh praised the role of border guards in maintaining sustainable security. He also paid tribute to the border guards of Khuzestan.

He stated that the vigilance, courage, and authoritative presence of Khuzestan’s border guards have played an irreplaceable role in ensuring lasting security. Setareh also expressed appreciation for the round-the-clock efforts of border personnel and thanked former border guard commanders for their dedication, resilience, and responsibility in elevating the force to its current standing.

Highlighting the defining characteristics of Iran’s border guard forces, the deputy commander said that disciplined, committed, and well-trained human resources remain the most valuable asset of any organization. He noted that order, discipline, unity, and loyalty among border guards have become exemplary within Iran’s armed forces.

Setareh further underlined the importance of combining visible discipline with moral discipline, stating that Khuzestan’s border guard units benefit from extensive capabilities and strengths built through the collective efforts of current and former commanders and professional staff.
