Tehran - BORNA - In an address at a ceremony honoring medalists from the international science Olympiads, the president emphasized on Saturday that the true wealth of the Islamic Republic of Iran lies not in its natural resources, but in its talented and creative young people.
Pezeshkian highlighted that many countries have achieved remarkable advancements without abundant natural resources, relying instead on their skilled human capital.
He questioned why Iran, blessed with vast natural wealth, has not progressed as expected and called for a shift in perspective, urging citizens to recognize their potential to solve problems.
The president also addressed the urgent need for educational reform, underscoring that his administration has prioritized creating an environment conducive to identifying and nurturing young talent. He noted that despite years of building schools, Iran still faces a shortage of educational facilities, and that his administration is committed to resolving this issue comprehensively.
Pezeshkian criticized the stagnant administrative system that resists change, urging the youth to break free from traditional molds and harness their creativity to drive reforms.
In his remarks, the president emphasized the resilience and creativity of the Iranian people in the face of external challenges. He stated that while adversaries may attempt to undermine the country’s scientific achievements, it is the nation’s skilled professionals and scientists who have built its infrastructure and resources.
He further reinforced the idea that Iranians possess the determination and capability to advance despite efforts by enemies to obstruct their progress, expressing confidence that no one can hinder those who are committed to growth and development.
