Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud called on the international community to pursue a “diplomatic track” to address Iran’s nuclear program during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Tehran - BORNA - Prince Faisal reaffirmed Riyadh’s commitment to regional stability, highlighting respect for sovereignty, good neighborly relations, and efforts to de-escalate tensions.

He emphasized the right of all countries to use peaceful nuclear energy in accordance with international law.

Turning to the situation in Gaza, Faisal bin Farhan urged decisive international action to halt "Israeli aggression," warning of “grave consequences” if the violations continue.

He said the failure of the international community to intervene would exacerbate regional and global instability and contribute to further war crimes.

The Saudi minister condemned the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, calling it a direct violation of international law.

He denounced the “brutal and unchecked practices of the occupying forces, including starvation, forced displacement, and systematic killing,” as a blatant disregard for Palestinian rights.
