Tehran - BORNA - The tournament was held at the Q Sport Academy in Dubai with the participation of 60 players from across the Middle East. Qaraghozloo defeated Iraq’s Ali Jalil 4–2 in the final to secure the championship.
On his way to the title, Qaraghozloo overcame Rami Elhosamy of Libya 3–0, Mina Awad of Egypt 3–1, Ehsan Heidarinejad 4–1, and Omar Amer of Egypt 4–0 to reach the semifinals. In the last four, he beat the UAE’s Khalid Ali Alkamali 4–0 to advance to the final match.
This victory marked Qaraghozloo’s third championship title in the competition. With this win, he also earned a place in the final stage of the Q Tour, which grants entry into the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA).
The final event of the Q Tour will be held in March in Albania, where Qaraghozloo will have the chance to join the WPBSA professional ranks, following in the footsteps of fellow Iranians Hossein Vafaei and Amir Sarkhosh, if he advances to the final.
