Tehran - BORNA - Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Badr Abdelatty, the Foreign Minister of Egypt, held a telephone conversation on Saturday afternoon to discuss and exchange views on bilateral relations and regional developments.
The two Ministers reviewed bilateral relations and agreed to continue discussions aimed at developing ties between the two nations.
They also examined the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in Lebanon and Gaza resulting from continued aggressions and repeated cease-fire violations by the Zionist regime. Both Ministers emphasized the necessity of urgent action by the international community to halt the Zionist regime's crimes.
During the phone conversation, the Iranian nuclear issue was also raised, and the Foreign Minister of Iran articulated the country's views on the matter.
