Emphasizing the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the necessity of preserving the national sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Baghaei described this "evil move" by the Zionist regime as part of its broader policy to destabilize regional countries and escalate insecurity in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.
The spokesperson further expressed Iran's support for the firm positions taken by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the African Union in condemning the Zionist regime's actions.
