Tehran - BORNA - In a statement released Wednesday, the IRGC extended its condolences and congratulations to the Islamic Ummah, the Palestinian people, and the families of the martyrs after the announcement of the death of Abu Obeida, who was martyred alongside members of his family and four other resistance fighters.
The martyrdom was announced on Monday by the Qassam Brigades, which blamed an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City earlier this year.
According to Press TV, the IRGC described the martyrdom as “a true image of the steadfastness and flourishing of the Resistance” in the face of a “terrorist and child‑killing Zionist regime.”
“Undoubtedly, the path of the martyrs remains alive,” the statement read. “The echo of Islamic Resistance will remain unquenchable until the liberation of Holy Quds.”
The statement highlighted Abu Obeida’s role as the primary voice of the Palestinian struggle, praising his “precise and transparent narration of the Resistance’s victories.”
It noted that his rhetoric drove Zionist propaganda outlets to “desperation” in their attempts to censor and distort the reality of Palestinian Resistance.
The IRGC characterized the assassination as a sign of the Resistance’s efficiency and pride on the battlefield, contrasting it with the perceived failure of the Zionist army to confront the fighters.
“The future definitely belongs to the Resistance,” the IRGC stated.
The statement expressed gratitude for the “artistic integration of the battlefield and the narrative,” crediting the “officers of the Resistance’s soft war.”
The IRGC said this synergy has fueled the growth of the “discourse of Resistance” worldwide, particularly among populations in Europe and the United States.
In its concluding remarks, the IRGC reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to continue this path until the “complete liberation of Holy Quds and the removal of the occupying and usurping Zionist regime from this sacred land.”
