Tehran - BORNA - According to the ministry’s official news platform, the statement reads: “Once again, Iranian wrestling has shined on the international stage. Iran’s junior Greco-Roman team claimed the Asian title with 5 gold and 4 bronze medals in Bishkek, while the junior freestyle team earned 4 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal to secure their own continental crown.”
The statement went on to highlight the significance of such achievements at the youth level, describing them as: “a promising sign of rising stars and future successors to Iran’s elite wrestling champions.”
The Ministry of Sports and Youth extended its congratulations to the medal-winning athletes, coaching staff, team leaders, the Wrestling Federation, and the proud people of Iran: “These achievements are a testament to the hard work and excellence of our youth athletes.
