Tehran - BORNA - With the commencement of the Joint Technical Committee IEC/ISO JTC 3, which focuses on the formulation of international standards for quantum technologies, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been accepted as an Observer Member in this specialized body.
In line with its assigned missions to strengthen and develop the national standardization system, as well as the necessity of maintaining an active presence in corresponding international technical committees, the National Center for Nuclear Quality Systems and Standards of Iran has taken over the leadership of the national secretariat for the IEC/ISO JTC 3 Technical Committee, titled "Quantum Technologies."
This participation aims to facilitate Iran’s contribution to the drafting and development of international standards within the nuclear industry and emerging technological sectors.
