Iran Strongly Condemns Israeli Military Aggression Against Qatar

Tehran - BORNA - In a statement on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry described the strike as a flagrant violation of the UN Charter, fundamental principles of international law, and an outright act of aggression against Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It said the incident once again demonstrates “the dangerous and terrorist nature” of a regime that, while committing genocide in occupied Palestine, has expanded its aggression across the region, threatening peace and stability on an unprecedented scale.

The statement further stressed that the United States and other political, financial, and military supporters of Israel are complicit in its crimes and must be held accountable for the regime’s ongoing violations and atrocities.

Expressing solidarity with the government and people of Qatar in the face of what it called “brutal aggression,” the Foreign Ministry called for urgent action by the UN Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other international bodies. It urged the global community and regional states to take practical measures to curb Israel’s warmongering and to halt the genocide in occupied Palestine.
