Larijani Arrives in Riyadh for High-Level Talks
Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday as part of an official visit aimed at advancing bilateral dialogue between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Tehran - BORNA - The trip comes in continuation of Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman’s visit to Tehran in April 2025, marking another step in the ongoing exchanges between the two regional powers.
Larijani is accompanied by Ali Bagheri Kani, Deputy for Foreign Policy at the Supreme National Security Council, and Mohammad Ali Bek, Assistant to the Foreign Minister on Persian Gulf Affairs.
During his stay in Riyadh, Larijani is scheduled to meet with senior Saudi officials, including the defense minister, to discuss a wide range of issues with particular focus on expanding economic cooperation.
Riyadh is the third stop in Larijani’s recent regional consultations, following his earlier visits to Baghdad and Beirut in August.
