Larijani says Iran ready to support Lebanon and the Resistance in meeting with Sheikh Qassem

Tehran - BORNA - According to a statement from Hezbollah’s public relations office the meeting was attended by Mojtaba Amani, Iran’s ambassador to Beirut. Larijani stressed Iran’s backing for Lebanon and its resistance forces pursuant to the directives of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and said Iran is prepared to provide support to Lebanon and its resistance across all levels.

Sheikh Naim Qassem thanked Iran’s leadership, government and people for their condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safi al-Din, and for Iran’s support for Lebanon and the Resistance.

Al-Manar reported that Qassem said Lebanon remains resilient in the face of threats from the United States and Israel, and that the Lebanese people are determined defenders of freedom and independence. He added that those who observe the people’s courageous stance understand that victory against the Israeli enemy will belong to its opponents. Qassem further said Hezbollah stands ready to cooperate with those who confront the Israeli enemy, which he described as a threat to all peoples, systems and resistance movements, and expressed confidence that this aggressive domination will meet a humiliating end in the face of steadfast resistance.
