Report: US to supply Ukraine with intelligence for long-range missile strikes
Tehran - BORNA - The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump gave his administration permission to resume military intelligence support to Kiev.
In March, Trump had ordered a suspension of sharing intelligence with Ukraine in a major blow to Kiev.
Trump suspended Washington’s intelligence support to Kiev amid tensions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over a proposed peace deal with Russia. Attempts to reach a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia have failed till now.
Recently, Trump changed his mind and told US officials to resume the supply of military intelligence to help Kiev to strike Russian energy infrastructure deep in the Kremlin’s territory.
“After seeing the Economic trouble (the war) is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” Trump wrote on Truth Social last Tuesday.
