Leader: The U.S. Has No Right to Dictate Iran’s Nuclear Policy
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said the United States has no right to interfere in Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, describing U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remarks as filled with lies and arrogance aimed at boosting the morale of the Zionist regime.

Tehran - BORNA -Addressing a gathering of hundreds of Iranian athletes and scientific medalists on Tuesday, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei referred to Trump’s recent statements on the region and Iran, saying: “The President of the United States, during his visit to the occupied Palestine, uttered a series of baseless and foolish remarks to cheer up the disappointed Zionists and to boost their morale.”

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s unprecedented strike against the Zionist regime during the 12-day war left them in despair,” the Leader said. “They did not expect that Iranian missiles could penetrate deep into their sensitive and strategic centers, destroy them, and turn them into ashes.”

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that Iran’s missiles “were not purchased or rented from anywhere—they are the handmade and homegrown achievement of Iranian youth,” adding that “when young Iranians enter the field with determination and scientific capability, they can accomplish such great feats.”

“The Armed Forces and our defense industries built and employed these missiles, and they still possess them—and will use them again whenever necessary,” he underlined.

U.S. Is a Partner in Israel’s Crimes in Gaza

The Leader described Trump’s recent “boastful and indecent behavior” as an attempt to appear powerful before the Zionists and said: “In the Gaza war, the United States is without any doubt the main partner in the crimes of the Zionist regime. Even the U.S. President himself admitted that Washington ‘worked with Israel in Gaza.’ Even if he hadn’t said it, it was already clear—because the weapons and equipment dropped on the heads of the defenseless people of Gaza belonged to the United States.”

Ayatollah Khamenei called Trump’s claim of fighting terrorism “another lie,” adding: “More than 20,000 children and infants were martyred in the Gaza war. Were they terrorists? The real terrorist is America—it created Daesh and unleashed it on the region, and it continues to control and preserve remnants of it for its own use.”

He went on to say: “About 70,000 people were killed in the Gaza war, and more than a thousand Iranians were martyred during the 12-day conflict. These are clear examples of the terrorist nature of America and the Zionist regime. In addition to the mass killings, they assassinated our scientists such as Taheranchi and Abbasi, taking pride in these crimes. But they must know they cannot assassinate science itself.”

The U.S. Has No Authority over Iran’s Nuclear Program

Referring to Trump’s claim that Washington had “destroyed” Iran’s nuclear industry, the Leader said: “It doesn’t matter—keep imagining so. But who are you to dictate what a country can or cannot have in terms of nuclear technology? What does Iran’s nuclear industry have to do with America? These interventions are illegitimate, wrong, and tyrannical.”

Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed to widespread protests in the United States, saying: “If you are truly capable, instead of spreading lies and meddling in other countries’ affairs or building military bases abroad, calm the millions of people protesting against you across U.S. states and cities and send them back to their homes.”

He stressed: “The true terrorist, the embodiment of terrorism, is the United States itself.”

Trump’s Claims of Supporting the Iranian People Are False

Ayatollah Khamenei dismissed Trump’s claim of friendship with the Iranian people as a lie, explaining: “The U.S. secondary sanctions—followed by many countries out of fear—are directed precisely against the Iranian nation. Therefore, you are the enemy of the Iranian people, not their friend.”

Responding to Trump’s remarks about being “open to making deals,” the Leader said: “He claims to be a man of deals, but if a deal is accompanied by coercion and its outcome predetermined, that is not a deal—it is imposition and bullying. The Iranian nation will never submit to coercion.”

The U.S. Fuels Wars in the Middle East

Referring to Trump’s comments on instability and conflict in West Asia, Ayatollah Khamenei said: “It is you who start wars. The United States is a war-maker; it not only sponsors terrorism but also ignites conflicts. Otherwise, why does America have all these military bases across the region? What are you doing here? This region belongs to its own nations, and the war and death here stem from America’s presence.”

Iran Will Never Be Intimidated

Concluding his remarks, the Leader said Trump’s statements were “wrong, deceitful, and arrogant,” emphasizing: “While such bullying may influence some countries, by God’s grace it will never have any effect on the Iranian nation.”
