Iran and Kazakhstan Agree on Continued Consultations During Phone Call Between Araghchi and Kazakh Counterpart
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Yerzhan Koshurbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, discussed the latest status of bilateral relations and regional cooperation in a phone call this morning (Saturday).

Tehran - BORNA - The Iranian Foreign Minister congratulated Koshurbayev on his appointment, recalled the constructive cooperation with the previous Kazakh Foreign Minister, and expressed hope that this close cooperation would continue in the new period.

Referring to the positive and constructive history of relations between the two countries, the two sides emphasized the shared will to comprehensively expand ties in the political, economic, scientific, and cultural fields.

During the telephone conversation, the two Ministers also stressed the importance of active presence and effective participation in regional and trans-regional organizations, including the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), and agreed to continue consultations and deliberations in this regard.
