Ulyanov: European E3 Does Not Play a Positive Role Regarding Iran
Tehran - BORNA - Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, stated on Wednesday in a message on his X social media account that "Russia, China, and Iran are the key players regarding the Iranian nuclear program."
He continued: "They largely determine how the situation progresses. The so-called European Troika (the UK, Germany, and France) also have the right to express their views, but their ability to play a positive role is highly questionable."
The Foreign Ministers of the UK, France, and Germany also discussed Iran's nuclear program during a trilateral meeting on Wednesday on the sidelines of the G7 summit. Germany's Foreign Minister, without referring to Tehran's constant and ongoing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), remarked that it is still up to Iran to ensure the necessary transparency regarding its nuclear activities.
