Iranian Embassy in Beirut Slams Zionist Regime's 'Cowardly Aggression' on Beirut's Southern Suburb
Tehran - BORNA - Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon reacted today (Sunday) to the aggressive attack by the Zionist regime on Beirut’s Southern Suburb (Dahiyeh).
The Iranian Embassy in Lebanon wrote in a message on the social media network X (formerly Twitter): "The scope of the crimes and aggressions of the [Zionist regime] has expanded and now encompasses Beirut’s Southern Suburb; with a clearly evident signature from the Israeli terrorist entity that does not shy away from threatening the innocent civilians of the beloved nation of Lebanon. Nevertheless, these cowardly aggressions can never break the resolve of the rightful owners nor weaken their firm will to confront oppression."
This attack occurred despite the Zionist regime having repeatedly struck the southern regions of the country since the achievement of a ceasefire with Lebanon.
The Zionist regime claimed that the attack on Beirut’s Southern Suburb was aimed at assassinating "Abu Ali Tabatabai," a senior Hezbollah commander.
