Trump Slams Zelenskyy as 'Ungrateful,' Reiterates Claim He Could Have Prevented Ukraine War
US President Donald Trump once again directed sharp criticism toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, claiming that the Ukrainian leader has shown no gratitude for US efforts to broker peace.

Tehran - BORNA - US President Donald Trump once again directed sharp criticism toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, claiming that the Ukrainian leader has shown no gratitude for US efforts to broker peace.

Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social late Sunday: "The war between Russia and Ukraine is a violent and horrifying war that would never have happened if the United States and Ukraine had a strong and appropriate President at the time."

Blaming Biden and the 2020 Election

In the subsequent part of his post, Trump first criticized former US President Joe Biden: "This war began long before I came to power for my second term as president, during Sleepy Joe Biden’s administration, and the situation has only gotten worse. If the 2020 Presidential Election had not been rigged and stolen, which is the only thing the radical left Democrats are good at doing, there would be no war between Ukraine and Russia; just as there was no such thing during my first term as President."

He added: "Putin (the Russian President) would never have attacked! When he saw Joe sleeping, he said, 'Now is my chance!' The rest is history, and it continues to this day. I inherited a war that should never have happened, a war that is a loser for everyone, especially the millions who have been needlessly killed."

Donald Trump continued by criticizing President Zelenskyy: "The President of Ukraine has shown no appreciation for our efforts, and Europe continues to buy oil from Russia. The United States continues to sell massive amounts of weapons to NATO for distribution in Ukraine; Dirty Joe gave everything away for free, free, free, including money!"
