Larijani will travel to Pakistan today
Tehran - BORNA - Larijani emphasized the importance of bilateral relations, referring to Pakistan as a "friendly and brotherly country" in the region, and stated: "Today I am traveling to Pakistan, our friendly and brotherly country in the region."
Recalling the support of the Pakistani people for the Islamic Republic during one of the toughest recent confrontations, he said: "Iranians will not forget that during the 12-day war by the Zionist regime and America against Iran, the nation of Pakistan stood by the Iranian nation."
The senior security official concluded by stressing the pivotal role of Tehran and Islamabad in the region, adding: "Iran and Pakistan are two important and influential countries in sustainable security in the region, and we always pay attention to the brotherly relations among regional countries."
