Iran-Pakistan Relations Entering Another Strategic Phase
Iran’s Ambassador in Islamabad calls the trip by the SNSC Secretary unprecedented and says the tested relationship between the two brotherly nations is set to enter a new strategic phase.

Tehran - BORNA - Reza Amiri Moghaddam, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, described the upcoming visit of Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), to Islamabad as "unprecedented." He stated that the solid and tested relationship between the two brotherly nations is about to enter a new strategic phase.

The Ambassador shared his views on his official X (formerly Twitter) account ahead of Larijani’s arrival, writing: "This visit marks a historic turning point and a pivotal moment in which the solid and tested relationship between our two brotherly nations is set to enter another strategic phase."

He added that in light of rapidly changing global conditions, the need to upgrade bilateral ties is essential: "Given the fast-evolving global landscape and the emerging dynamics in our regional ecosystem, the need to formulate a strategy and further upgrade our bilateral relations has become more crucial than ever—a goal that will be significantly advanced through this important trip."
