Larijani: Iran Has Not and Will Not Abandon Real Negotiations
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that Iran has not and will not abandon genuine negotiations.

Tehran - BORNA - Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared that Iran remains committed to genuine diplomatic engagement.

Larijani stated in an interview with the Pakistani network HUM that setting predetermined outcomes undermines the negotiation process: "Anyone who genuinely desires negotiation does not predetermine the outcome; that is why [the previous attempts] were not negotiation."

The SNSC Secretary reaffirmed Iran's commitment to diplomatic solutions: "Iran has not and will not abandon real negotiations."

Ali Larijani also addressed Iran's nuclear program, clarifying the country's strategic goals: "We are not seeking to possess nuclear weapons; however, we will seriously continue the development of our peaceful nuclear program."
