Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Chief of Staff and Coordinating Deputy of the Army says that there has been necessary amendments to the army's tactics recently to improve its performance on land, the sea, and the air.

Tehran - BORNA - "The Army General Staff's assessments of the combat capabilities of the naval, land, and air forces are permanent and constant," said Admiral Sayyari said in an interview with local Iranian media Sunday.

"In these assessments, the army's senior commanders consider all details, including personnel skills, weapons readiness, the suitability of tactics and methods for accurate enemy identification, and intelligence intelligence," he added.

"The assessments indicate high morale among the army personnel," general Sayyari said, adding that the assessments also show "offensive and defensive equipment is in good condition."

"Necessary revisions have been made to the army's tactics based on the experiences gained from the way the forces operate on land, in the air, and at sea,"  the Chief of Staff and Coordinating Deputy of the Army further continued.
