Armenia's interests overlap those of Iran's

Tehran - BORNA - Ruben Rubinyan, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia said in a speech on Tuesday that 

“It is out of the question that there could be any project in Armenia that would contradict Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity or that would not be under Armenia’s full jurisdiction. We take into account all the vital interests of our neighbors, and in Iran’s case, those interests largely coincide with Armenia’s. 

"We are also encouraged by the fact that Iran’s Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated that ...that Iran’s red lines are being taken into account as well. Above all, this is Armenia’s red line: there will be no extraterritorial corridor through Armenia,” Rubinyan said, according to Armen Press.
