Zelensky Announces Step-by-Step Plan to Implement Peace Initiatives

Tehran - BORNA - President Zelensky stated that Ukraine is currently drafting a series of step-by-step measures to ensure that all proposed peace plans are implemented realistically and practically. According to Zelensky, a bilateral track is already underway, involving meetings with the United States to discuss specific security guarantees between Kyiv and Washington. He noted that these discussions are being formalized within a distinct document.

The Ukrainian President further explained that security guarantees from Europe are simultaneously under review. The military aspects of these guarantees are being negotiated as part of a broader security framework. Alongside these diplomatic efforts, Kyiv is developing what Zelensky described as a "Prosperity Plan"—a multi-document reconstruction program aimed at rebuilding the country’s infrastructure and economy.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine's ultimate goal is to present a sequential action plan, ensuring that all proposed initiatives are pursued in a phased and coherent manner. He added that this proposed framework will be presented during talks with the Russian side, and Ukraine is currently awaiting feedback from these consultations.

Previously, the Ukrainian President had noted that the provision of security guarantees from the United States to Ukraine would ultimately depend on the final decision of U.S. President Donald Trump.
