Tehran - BORNA - According to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign ministers of 21 nations—including Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Turkey, Yemen—alongside the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), reaffirmed their categorical opposition to the Israeli move. The signatories emphasized that recognizing the independence of a portion of a sovereign state's territory constitutes a "dangerous precedent" and a direct threat to global peace and security.

The joint statement expressed unwavering support for Somalia’s national sovereignty and rejected any measure that undermines its territorial integrity across all its lands. The ministers stressed that such actions directly contravene the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and established global legal norms.

Furthermore, the foreign ministers explicitly rejected any linkage between this diplomatic move and broader geopolitical conspiracies, including potential plans for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people. They warned that the Zionist regime’s intervention in the Horn of Africa is a calculated attempt to destabilize regional security and bypass the sovereignty of independent nations.
