HTS-led regime denounces Israeli recognition of Somaliland

Tehran - BORNA - In a statement on Sunday, the regime of self-declared Syrian President Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani denounced the Zionist regime’s move in recognizing the Somaliland.

Syria’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that such an move is a clear violation of the principles and laws of international law and the UN Charter, and targets Somalia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Jolani regime's Foreign Ministry announced that such unilateral measures have no legal legitimacy and cannot be given effect in the international arena because they are based on an unrealistic issue.

The Zionist regime recently recognized the region controlled by separatists in northern Somalia under the name Somaliland, in violation of all international laws.
