Cuba: We Condemn U.S. Actions Against Venezuela and Iran
The Cuban government described the unilateral coercive measures by the U.S. government against Venezuela and Iran as contrary to international law, emphasizing that these actions are aimed at increasing pressure and escalating aggression against the two countries.
Tehran - BORNA - Bruno Rodríguez, the Foreign Minister of Cuba, wrote in a message on the X social network: "We reject the new unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government against Venezuela and Iran."
The Foreign Minister continued: "These actions are contrary to international law and are pursued with the aim of increasing pressure and escalating aggression against both countries."
On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions on several individuals and figures in Iran and Venezuela, claiming that Tehran and Caracas maintain arms-related relations.
