Borna News Agency Launches AI Unit and Arabic & English Sections
Yaser Sadeghi, CEO of Borna News Agency, announced the launch of a dedicated Artificial Intelligence (AI) unit along with new Arabic and English-language sections, marking a new chapter in the agency’s smart media development and its expanding international engagement.

Tehran - BORNA - Emphasizing the necessity for domestic media to have a strong presence in global arenas and the evolving digital landscape, Sadeghi stated: "In line with our overarching media goals and in response to the evolving needs of society, Borna has established a dedicated AI unit. This unit will work closely with editorial departments to leverage cutting-edge technologies in streamlining the production, processing, and distribution of news content. It will also help build more effective communication channels to reach a wider and more diverse audience."

He further explained that the unit is also tasked with promoting public education on the benefits and applications of artificial intelligence in everyday life.
"We have designed a range of educational programs to help the public become more familiar with this transformative technology and benefit from its capabilities," he added.

Touching on the agency’s international vision, Sadeghi said: "By launching official pages in Arabic and English, Borna aims to share the voices of Iranian youth, the message of the Iranian nation, our rich cultural heritage, and the country’s athletic, social, and political achievements with the world. This move is part of our strategy to strengthen media diplomacy and enhance our presence in international media spaces."

He emphasized that Borna has always been a youth-oriented media outlet, stating: "Our approach is based on accurate storytelling, audience engagement, and the integration of emerging technologies. Through these efforts, we hope to play a more influential role in shaping global public opinion."

In conclusion, Sadeghi noted that this structural transformation is only the beginning: "These changes pave the way for greater leaps forward in multilingual content production, data-driven analysis, and the evolution of Borna into one of the region’s leading media organizations.
