Venezuela Reaffirms Appreciation for the Support of Iran's Government and People

Tehran - BORNA - Yván Gil Pinto, the Foreign Minister of Venezuela, shared images of a webinar held between Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of Iran, and the ambassador and diplomats serving at the Iranian Embassy in Caracas. In a message on his personal Telegram channel, Gil Pinto wrote: "Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, is not mistaken when he confirms that the people of Venezuela will defend their sovereignty and supreme interests against the illegal measures imposed by the United States."

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister added: "On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the people of Venezuela, we express our gratitude for the support of the government and people of Iran."

He further praised the "firm determination of Iran in defending international law and the right of nations to full development and empowerment, free from abuses, unilateral coercive measures, and threats that undermine international law and the human rights of people around the world."
