Qalibaf: Israel seeking revenge on Iranians through economic, psychological warfare
Tehran - BORNA - “Now, the enemy wants to take revenge on the powerful and oppressed people of Iran more than ever through economic warfare and psychological offensives,” Qalibaf said as he took the podium during an open session of the Parliament on Sunday morning.
He also expressed his deepest condolences on the 40th day since the martyrdom of high-ranking Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens throughout the June 13-25 war.
“With this criminal act, the Zionist criminal gang has once again proven that assassination is its inseparable trait; and it does not differentiate between military personnel and civilians, the elderly and children, as well as men and women,” the senior Iranian legislator said.
Qalibaf added, “This illegitimate offspring and cancerous tumor of the Western world, which is currently causing one of the greatest tragedies in history in Gaza, must be stopped as soon as possible, before it plunges the entire region and the world into further chaos.”
He said it is now the turn of the country’s business officials and economic figures to take the stage and perform their tasks.
