China’s stance follows a wave of condemnations from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, and Türkiye, all of whom have labeled Israel’s recent moves a threat to regional stability. On Sunday, the Israeli cabinet approved plans that would fundamentally alter the legal and administrative status of Areas "A" and "B" in the West Bank, signaling a major step toward de facto annexation.
