Araghchi in Geneva: Real Initiatives for a Fair Deal; No Submission to Threats

Tehran - BORNA - Following his arrival in Geneva, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi outlined Tehran's diplomatic agenda, emphasizing a commitment to fair negotiations while firmly rejecting any form of external pressure.

In a statement shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday morning, Araghchi detailed his scheduled high-level meetings:

Joined by a team of Iranian nuclear experts, Araghchi is set to meet with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Monday for "deep technical discussions."

Prior to the commencement of indirect diplomacy with the United States on Tuesday, the Foreign Minister will meet with Badr Albusaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman.

Araghchi stated that he is in Geneva with "real ideas" aimed at achieving a "fair and equitable deal."

Underscoring Iran's red lines, the Foreign Minister categorically declared: "What is not on the table: submission before threats."

According to recent reports, these diplomatic movements in Geneva follow earlier talks in Muscat and aim to resolve the technical and conceptual gaps regarding the nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions.
