Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian, referring to the ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States in Geneva, said that he sees a positive outlook regarding the talks.

Tehran - BORNA - Pezeshkian made the remarks on Wednesday during a provincial visit to Mazandaran, where he met with investors and economic activists in the northern province.

Addressing foreign policy issues, he stated: “We are making efforts in external affairs; our relations with neighboring countries have significantly improved, and we are working to strengthen them further.”

Recalling the indirect Iran–U.S. negotiations in Geneva, he added: “We see a positive outlook in the talks. God willing, Mr. Abbas Araghchi will attend a meeting in Geneva tomorrow. We have tried to manage this process under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in a way that moves us beyond the current ‘neither war nor peace’ situation.”

The president emphasized that if such progress is achieved, it would become much easier to remove obstacles and move forward.
