Iran Stresses Right to Self-Defense in Call with Turkish Foreign Minister
Tehran - BORNA - During the call, Araghchi elaborated on the crimes committed by the American and Zionist aggressors, including this morning’s attack on a girls’ elementary school in Minab and the killing of innocent Iranian schoolgirls. He described the military aggression as a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of the Charter of the United Nations and a clear crime against international peace and security. He emphasized Iran’s inherent right to defend the country with full capacity and determination.
Referring to Iran’s resolve to continue its policy of good neighborliness and friendship with all countries in the region, the Foreign Minister stressed that the war imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime is not only against the Iranian nation but against all countries of the region and the Muslim world. He underscored that all regional and Muslim countries bear a historic responsibility to counter the malicious scheme of the Zionist regime aimed at destabilizing Islamic nations.
