IRGC: USS Abraham Lincoln Retreats After Missile Strike

Tehran - BORNA - In communiqué No. 8 of Operation “True Promise 4,” the IRGC stated that the seventh and eighth waves of the operation were carried out before noon today against American–Zionist targets, involving successive missile launches and large-scale drone deployments.

The statement said the U.S. Ali Al-Salem naval base in Kuwait was rendered completely inoperative following recent strikes, and that three U.S. maritime infrastructure facilities in Kuwait were destroyed. It added that the U.S. naval base in Mina Salman, Bahrain, was struck by four drones, causing severe damage to its command and support centers.

According to the IRGC, three violating American and British oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz were hit by missiles and are currently burning. The statement further said U.S. military positions in Bahrain were targeted with two ballistic missiles and that other U.S. bases across the region were subjected to repeated attacks, resulting in 560 American military personnel killed or wounded so far.

The IRGC added that, based on the continuous sound of ambulance sirens at U.S. and Israeli bases, as well as field reports and intelligence monitoring, a psychological crisis is unfolding among American forces and Israeli settlers. It emphasized that with increasing targeted pressure from Iran’s armed forces, conditions for them will become even more difficult.

The statement concluded by stressing that missile and drone attacks are continuing in a sustained and widespread manner, and that further offensive achievements by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be announced to the Iranian nation.
