Iran Warns U.S., Israeli Economic and Banking Centers Could Be Next Targets
Tehran - BORNA - Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said that the United States and Israel carried out an attack on one of Iran’s banking facilities after failing to achieve their military objectives.
He said that during the previous night Israeli forces targeted one of Iran’s banking infrastructures.
“Last night, the terrorist U.S. army and the brutal Zionist regime, after failing to achieve their military objectives, targeted one of the country’s banks,” Zolfaghari said.
He added that this illegitimate and unconventional act of warfare has opened the way for Iran to target the economic infrastructure of its adversaries.
“With this illegitimate and unconventional action in war, the enemy has opened our hands to target economic centers and banks belonging to the United States and the Zionist regime in the region,” he said.
The spokesperson stressed that Washington should expect a painful retaliatory response.
“Americans should wait for our reciprocal and painful action,” he said.
He also warned civilians in the region to stay away from potential targets.
“People in the region should not remain within a one-kilometer radius of banks,” Zolfaghari added.
