Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of Iran, criticized Emmanuel Macron, President of France, over what he described as silence and inaction regarding the war against Iran.

Tehran - BORNA - Araghchi wrote in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter): “Emmanuel Macron has not uttered a single word in condemnation of the joint war by Israel and the United States against Iran.”

He added that Macron remained silent when Israel struck fuel storage facilities in Tehran, exposing millions of people to toxic materials.

Araghchi further said that Macron’s current “expression of concern” did not follow the Israeli attack on Iran’s gas facilities, but instead came after Iran’s retaliatory action, calling the situation “regrettable.”
