Araghchi Reacts to Netanyahu’s Remarks on Jesus Christ and Genghis Khan
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reacted to remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, criticizing the insult to Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) and the praise of Genghis Khan, saying such statements are consistent with Netanyahu’s current status as a wanted war criminal.
Tehran - BORNA - Araghchi wrote in a post on X in response to Netanyahu’s remarks the previous night: “For someone who relies so heavily on the goodwill of Christians in the United States, Netanyahu’s open disrespect toward Jesus Christ (PBUH) is remarkable.”
The senior Iranian diplomat added: “His boundless praise for Genghis Khan—the most bloodthirsty figure our region has ever seen—is also consistent with his current status as a wanted war criminal.”
