Iran Warns of Immediate Punitive Measures if US Targets Its Power Plants

Tehran - BORNA - Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters spokesperson stated:

“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

O you who have believed, when you meet those who disbelieve advancing [for battle], do not turn your backs to them (Anfal: 15).

The President of the United States, continuing his aggressive behavior and global destabilization, has threatened that if Iran does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz, it will target Iran’s power plants.

We have repeatedly stated that the Strait of Hormuz is only closed to the enemy and harmful transit, and it has not been fully closed. It is under our smart control, and harmless transit under specific regulations is carried out in a way that ensures our security and interests.

However, if the US threats regarding Iran’s power plants are carried out, the following punitive measures will be immediately implemented:

The Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed and will not be reopened until our destroyed power plants are rebuilt.

All power plants, energy infrastructure, and information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure of the Israeli regime will be extensively targeted.

All similar companies in the region with American shareholders will be completely destroyed.

Power plants of regional countries hosting US bases will be considered legitimate targets.

Everything is prepared for a great jihad aimed at the complete destruction of all US economic interests in the West Asia region.

We did not start the war and we will not start it now either, but if the enemy harms our power plants, we will do whatever is necessary to defend our country and the interests of our nation. The continuous process of destroying the stated targets will begin, and nothing will be able to stop the continuation of our operations to destroy the energy, oil, and industrial infrastructure of the United States and its allies in the region.”
