Iran, Egypt Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments in Phone Call
The foreign ministers of Iran and Egypt held a phone conversation to discuss the latest developments and the regional and international consequences of what was described as the illegal aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran, as well as Iran’s legitimate defense.
Tehran - BORNA - Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, and Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s foreign minister, exchanged views on the situation.
During the call, Iran’s foreign minister outlined the latest positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the aggression and the firm and legitimate defense carried out by the country’s armed forces against the aggressors.
For his part, Egypt’s foreign minister reviewed his country’s recent consultations with regional and international actors aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
The two sides also emphasized the continuation of consultations between them.
