Iranian, Turkish Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Talks
Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, held a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, to discuss regional developments and the consequences of the ongoing U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran.
Tehran - BORNA - Araghchi described the simultaneous calls for negotiations while continuing military attacks and sending forces and equipment to the region as a clear contradiction in U.S. policy and rhetoric.
He emphasized that all regional countries and the international community are expected to responsibly condemn the aggressions and crimes committed by the U.S. and Israel, holding the perpetrators accountable for blatant violations of international law and attacks on Iran.
Fidan, referring to ongoing consultations with some regional countries, reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to efforts aimed at helping end the war.
