National Security Commission Spokesman: Security Fully Maintained on Kharg Island; Oil Exports Ongoing Without Disruptio
Tehran - BORNA - Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Commission, said during an oversight visit by its members to Kharg Island: “Along with several of my colleagues in parliament, we have traveled to the resilient Kharg Island. Thank God, life is ongoing. Oil exports are proceeding without any problems.”
He continued: “We did not observe any particular issue on Kharg Island. Security is fully established on the island. The dedicated personnel of the oil industry are also engaged in carrying out their activities on this island.”
The representative of the people of Bushehr in the parliament stated: “What I can tell you with certainty is that our armed forces have pledged and are committed that if any aggressor attacks this Iranian island, it will certainly face the harshest response and will not return alive.”
According to the report, members of the Commission, during their oversight visit to Bushehr Province and Kharg Island, inspected centers and locations that had been targeted in the U.S.–Israeli attack.
During this visit, the members of parliament also toured the Persian Gulf Martyrs Hospital, the Bushehr passenger pier, an industrial unit in the Bushehr Special Economic Zone, and the meteorological office of Bushehr Airport, which had been targeted in the U.S.–Israeli aggression.
