Iran, Pakistan FMs Discuss Ongoing Attacks, Call for Regional Efforts to Halt War
The foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan held a phone conversation on Saturday evening to discuss regional developments amid the continued military aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran.

Tehran - BORNA - Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, and Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, spoke by phone and reviewed the latest developments in the region.

During the conversation, Iran’s Foreign Minister elaborated on crimes committed by the United States and the Israeli regime against the Iranian nation, particularly attacks on public infrastructure, schools, hospitals, scientific centers, and residential areas. He stressed the responsibility of all countries in the region and the international community to confront the collapse of international legal norms resulting from what he described as lawlessness and grave crimes by the two sides against humanity.

The Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, while reaffirming his country’s principled position in condemning military aggression against Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, briefed his Iranian counterpart on Islamabad’s efforts to stop the war, including the planned four-party meeting of foreign ministers of Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia in Islamabad.

He expressed hope that, through good offices and the efforts of regional countries, an immediate end to the war could be achieved and security and stability restored to the region.
