Beijing Slams U.S. Naval Blockade of Iran as ‘Dangerous and Irresponsible’

Tehran - BORNA - As the Chinese President announced his four-point proposal for maintaining peace in the Middle East—which specifically includes upholding the principle of peaceful coexistence, respecting the sovereignty of regional states, maintaining the rule of international law, and coordinating security and development—the Chinese Foreign Ministry cautioned against the U.S. military's regional maneuvers.

Regarding the alleged naval blockade of Iran by the U.S. military, the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated: "The expansion of the U.S. military presence only escalates tensions."

The Ministry emphasized that Beijing believes a full ceasefire is the only solution to reduce tensions in the region.

Describing the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports as a dangerous and irresponsible move, China further stressed: "Reports regarding the supply of weapons to Iran by China are fabricated and pure lies."
