Pezeshkian’s Deputy Chief of Staff: They Oppose an Independent Iran, Not a Nuclear One
The Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Information to the Iranian President stated that enemies are well aware that Iran seeks nuclear energy solely for peaceful purposes, asserting: They do not have a problem with a nuclear Iran; rather, they cannot tolerate an independent Iran.
Tehran - BORNA - Mehdi Tabatabaei wrote on his official account on the X social media platform: "They say 'no' to nuclear energy, even though seventy years ago, it was the Americans who encouraged a nuclear Iran. They know that the Islamic Republic of Iran seeks nuclear energy purely for peaceful purposes. Therefore, they do not have a problem with a nuclear Iran; they simply cannot tolerate an independent Iran. This perspective was evident in the remarks made yesterday by the U.S. Secretary of State."
