Turkish and Qatari Foreign Ministers Discuss Iran-U.S. Negotiations
In the continuation of regional consultations aimed at de-escalating tensions, Ankara and Doha reviewed the latest developments regarding negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.
Tehran - BORNA - Sources within the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to discuss the progress of talks between Tehran and Washington.
As reported by Anadolu Agency, the two sides evaluated the general regional situation in addition to the latest trends related to the ongoing Iran-U.S. dialogue. These consultations take place as diplomatic developments surrounding the Iran-U.S. file remain the focal point for regional countries, with various actors seeking to pursue political pathways and reduce tensions.
