Iranian, Saudi FMs discuss regional developments over phone
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, discussed the latest regional developments in a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
Tehran - BORNA -Araghchi, who is currently in Beijing for high-level consultations with Chinese officials, spoke with the Saudi Foreign Minister to exchange views on the current situation in the Middle East.
During the call, both sides reviewed the ongoing trends in the region and emphasized the importance of continuing the diplomatic path.
The two top diplomats further stressed the necessity of cooperation among regional countries to prevent the emergence of new crises and to curb the escalation of existing tensions.
