Iranian FM to visit New Delhi for BRICS Ministerial Meeting
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to travel to New Delhi to participate in the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
Tehran - BORNA - During the visit, the Iranian Foreign Minister will attend the summit held on Thursday and Friday, May 14 and 15, 2026. The meeting, chaired by India, will focus on regional stability, multilateral cooperation, and economic resilience. Araghchi is slated to hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, as well as other foreign ministers and high-ranking officials attending the event.
This ministerial gathering serves as a preparatory session for the 18th BRICS Summit, which is scheduled to be held in New Delhi this September under India’s chairmanship.
