Araghchi holds talks with Russian, Brazilian, and Malaysian counterparts in New Delhi
On the sidelines of the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in India, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held separate meetings with his counterparts from Russia, Brazil, and Malaysia to discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
Tehran - BORNA - During these diplomatic encounters, Araghchi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reviewed the latest status of strategic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
In a separate meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, the two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening ties within the framework of BRICS and expanding economic trade.
Additionally, the Iranian top diplomat met with Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan, where they discussed the expansion of Islamic world cooperation and key bilateral issues.
